Our mission at Central Baptist Church is to reach out in love to those who need a personal relationship with God and those who need a church family. We have the joy of learning together from God’s Holy Word.
Our “Family of Faith” is nurtured for spiritual growth and service. Jesus Christ is our Lord who gives direction to accomplish His will.
Women On Mission
Our Women On Mission group is very active in all phases of missions. They meet at least twice each month and work on projects for local nursing homes and hospitals as well as occasionally providing much needed assistance for our international missions efforts. Our ladies are actively involved in our Lauderdale Baptist Association’s mission projects as well. Our LBA Crisis center dispenses food for thousands of people every year as well as provides school supplies and uniforms for needy families.
International
Central Baptist Church has become heavily involved in the international missions efforts of Franklin Graham and the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Ministry. This ministry collects and donates needed items and toys for children around the world. Our church collects items for the entire year and then packs more than 150 shoe boxes (along with $9 per box shipping fees) to send to needy children around the world. A great deal of prayer and love go into each shoe box full of goodies. It is one of the ways we are making a difference in the world—one life at a time.
